Working features of ball screw jack
High transmission ratio
The transmission ratio of ball screw jack can be as high as 90%-98%, which is two times to four times higher than traditional screw rod. The reason for this high working ratio is that a smaller torque can bring about a larger pushing force and the linear movement can be transformed into curvilinear movement.
Stable movement
The transmission system of ball screw jack belongs to point contact rotary movement and the friction during this process is small but with high precision capacity. There is no trembling or shaking when it is started and no creeping phenomenon if working at a low speed. Hence force it is controllable of the amount for the micro feeding.
High precision
Its temperature increases little when the ball screw jacks are working even at high speed. What’s more, the axial space can be pre-eliminated and a pretension can be imposed on the screw jacks to make up for the thermal extension. In such terms, a more accurate location can be obtained or re-obtained.
