Why Should We Use Hot Dip Galvanized Steel to Make Scaffolding?
It is well known to us that there are several types and grades of steel with different purposes as well as different prices. They are galvanized steel, carbon steel and stainless steel. But why do we choose hot dip galvanized steel to make scaffolding? Below shows the reason.
1.Carbon Steel
Carbon steel, which is created by mixing iron with carbon, makes iron stronger but more brittle. Carbon steel is easy to cut and form by machine. But with the increasing of carbon, carbon steel will be harder and harder, which is not suitable to make scaffolding.
2.Stainless Steel
Stainless steel is well known for many applications in medical industry, kitchen and other precision equipment. It’s an excellent option for medical equipment and kitchen ware. While it is too expensive and brittle, it also can’t use to make scaffolding.
3.Galvanized Steel
Galvanized steel can be divided into two kinds: hot dip galvanized steel and cold galvanized steel. When using galvanized steel to make scaffolding, we often make it into galvanized steel pipes. There are several differences between hot dip galvanized steel pipes and cold galvanized steel pipes. Galvanized steel is often used in applications that require bending to form, such as buckets, scaffolding tubes, scaffolding planks or new scaffolding boards, but it’s difficult to weld or work with in other ways. Hot dip galvanized steel has strong anti-rust ability and a long service life. Meanwhile, it is on the low end of pricing. So it is the best choice for making scaffolding.
We ADTO GROUP often use hot dip galvanized steel to make scaffolding tubes, scaffolding planks and scaffolding ladders. We also have vary kinds of scaffolding for sale. Looking forward to your inquiry.
