Characteristics of cuplock scaffolding can be described as follows.

1. Multifunction.

It can be assembled to multifunctional construction tools including:

1) Single pole scaffolding and double pole scaffolding with the different group of frame size, different shape, and different bearing capacity

2) Support frame

3) Support pillar

Particularly suitable for the erection of scaffolding and heavy support frame surfaces.

2. High erecting and dismantling efficiency, labor saving and time-saving.

The length and weight of longest bar which commonly used are separately 3130 mm and 17.07kg. The erecting and dismantling speed of the whole frame is 3 to 5 times faster than the speed of ordinary tubular scaffolding. The joint has reliable bending resistance, shear resistance, and torsion resistance

3. Large bearing capacity.

The vertical bar is connected with the shaft socket. The crossbar is connected with the vertical bar by the bowl button joint. Furthermore, the axis lines of each member meet at a point, and the nodes are in the frame plane. Therefore, the structure is stable and reliable with large bearing capacity. The whole frame's bearing capacity is increased by more than 15% which is higher than that of the tubular scaffolding in equivalent conditions.

4. Safe and reliable, reasonable node structure.

The force bar is transmitted axially. To make the whole of the scaffold in three-dimensional space, high structural strength, good overall stability, and reliable self-locking performance can better meet the needs of construction safety.

5. Easy to process.

The main component is welded steel tube with phi 48 x 3.5 and Q235. The manufacturing process is simple and the cost is moderate, which can be processed directly to the existing scaffolding coupler without the need for complex processing equipment. 

6. Less maintenance.

The surface is treated with hot-dipped galvanizing. No need for special maintenance and repair.

7. Easy to keep or storage. Easy to transport.

Fewer accessories and fewer components easy to lose. All components are manufactured according to standard. The maximum length of the scaffolding component is 3130mm and the heaviest component is just 40.53 kg, which is convenient for handling and transportation.
