Scissor support is an important part of the longitudinal stability of the scaffolding and the strengthening of the longitudinal rigidity. Scissors support must be set with an increase of the shelf’s height in time, and continuously set to the top, no space remained. The bottom of the diagonal should fall on the pad.

The specification of Scissor Support and Transverse Diagonal Support

1) Each pair of scissors' support should span five to seven scaffolding vertical standards, with an Angle of 45°to 60°from the ground. The extension length of the bar is lap joint, and the two diagonal bars supported by the scissors are connected with the vertical bar or similar small crossbar.

2) For the outer shelf below 24.0m, scissor supports shall be set on the facade of the outer end of the shelf body, the corner Angle and the middle interval not exceeding 15.0m. For the outer frame above 24.0m, continuous scissor support is provided on the outside of the frame body.

3) The extension length of the scissors supporting diagonal bar shall be lap joint or butt joint. When the lap joint is adopted, the lap joint length shall not be less than 1m and shall be fixed with not less than 2 rotating fasteners.

4) Transverse diagonal support for the double row of scaffolding internal, external pole or horizontal pole oblique zigzag diagonal pole. Closed type double-row scaffolding with a height below 24.0m May not be provided with the transverse diagonal brace, closed type scaffolding with height above 24.0m, except for corner should be provided with the transverse diagonal brace, the middle should be provided with every 6 spans.

5) The transverse diagonal brace shall be arranged in the same joint from the bottom to the top in the shape of "zigzag". The diagonal brace shall be crossed and connected with the internal and external large crossbar to the top. The connection length of the diagonal brace shall be overlapped and shall not be directly connected with couplers.
