The procedures to make the tubes can be divided in to two kinds: the hot rolled seamless tubes and the cold rolled seamless tubes.

The hot rolled seamless tubes can also be used on the normal steel tubes, the steel tubes used in the medium and low pressure boiler, the high

pressure boiler steel tubes, the alloy steel tubes, the stainless steel tubes, the petrol cracking tubes, the geological steel tubes and other steel tube

types.

The cold rolled seamless tubes can also be used on the carbon steel tubes with thin tube wall, the alloy steel tubes, the stainless steel tubes and the

special steel tubes.

The OD of the hot rolled seamless tube is more than 32mm with a thickness of 2.5-75mm on the tube wall. While the cold rolled seamless steel tube

can be 6mm with a thickness of 0.25mm of the tube wall. So the cold rolled steel tube has a higher precision in the size than the hot rolled steel tubes.
