1. Division according to the position relation with the building

1)External scaffolding system

External scaffolding systems are erected from the ground along the periphery of the building, which can be used for building the exterior wall and for exterior decoration construction. Its main forms including multiple-vertical bar type, frame type, bridge type.

2)Internal scaffolding system

Internal scaffolding systems are erected inside the building. After each building of wall is finished, transfer it to the upper floor for a new building of the wall of masonry, which can be used for the masonry of internal and external walls and interior decoration construction. Fewer materials are used in the internal scaffolding system. Due to frequent assembly and dismantlement, it is required to be light and flexible, and easy to assemble and disassemble. Its structure type has the folding type, pillar type, and door frame type.etc.

2.Division according to the supporting part and supporting mode

1)Floor type:

A scaffold built over ground, floor, roof, or other platform structure.

2)Cantilever type:

Scaffolding is supported by the cantilever method, which has the following 3 ways

(1)Set up on a special cantilever beam

(2)Mounted on a special cantilever triangular truss;

(3)Assembled on the cantilever supporting system made up of the brace and pull rod which including brace type and oblique-pulling type.

3)Wall attached scaffolding cradle

4)Suspended scaffolding:

A scaffolding suspended under a cantilever beam or construction structure.

5)Attached to lift the scaffold:

The suspended scaffold attached to the engineering structure can be lifted by its own lifting equipment.

6)Level moving scaffolding system:

As a scaffolding system or working platform with casters or wheels.

3.Division according to the raw materials:

Wooden scaffolding, bamboo scaffolding, and metal scaffolding system.

4.Division according to its structure form:

Kwikstage scaffolding system, cuplock scaffolding system, frame scaffolding system, ringlock scaffolding system, tubular scaffolding system.
