There are vary kinds of scaffolding used in the construction. For example, ringlock scaffolding, cuplock scaffolding, tubular scaffolding, kwikstage scaffolding and frame scaffolding. When putting the construction scaffolding into use, we must follow the operational specifications and pay attention to safety. Here are five safety precautions suggested by scaffolding manufacturers for construction personnel working on scaffolding.

1.Be careful to clear the materials falling on the scaffold surface at any time during operation, and keep the construction scaffolding surface clean and orderly. Do not litter the materials and tools, so as not to affect the safety operation or hurt people by falling objects.

2.When performing pry, pull, push and so on, pay attention to adopt the correct posture, fasten the safety belt. Be aware of the body instability to fall, fall or throw things out. When removing the form-work on the construction scaffolding, necessary supporting measures should be taken to prevent the removed materials from falling out of the scaffold.

3.When the construction scaffolding surface is not high enough and needs to be elevated, a stable and reliable method must be adopted. The elevation shall not exceed 1250px, and the high safety protection facilities shall be added at the same time. If it exceeds 1250px, it shall be re-designed and approved according to the procedure.

4.When transporting materials through construction personnel on the construction scaffolding, timely send a signal to draw others’ attention. And the materials shall be placed lightly and stably. The materials shall not be dumped, slammed or using other hasty unloading methods.

5.Do not play on scaffolding. Don’t sleep or sit on poles. Do not rush and jump, and keep balance when giving way to others.
