Welded pipe is a kind of welded steel pipe which is made of steel sheet or strip after curling forming. Welding steel pipe is manufactured with simple process production, high production efficiency, various specifications, less equipment, but its general strength is smaller than that of seamless steel pipe. Welding pipe has a wide range of functions, such as welding pipe used for low-pressure liquid transport, mine liquid transport welding pipe, the welded pipe for mechanical structure, the welded pipe for decoration, etc. From the cross-section of welded pipe, it can be divided into a square tube, rectangular tube, hexagonal tube, triangle tube, diamond-shaped tube, semicircular tube, corrugated pipe and so on.

In summary, these two steel pipes are not the same type. Scaffolding pipe is a kind of welded pipe, while the welded pipe is not scaffolding pipe.
