Application of Acrow Steel Props and Important Things

1. The arrangement of strain gauge should be installed before the prestress is applied, and the support should be fully cooled when the initial reading is measured. If the prestress has been applied, it must be noted in the report that the data of the support shaft force reflects the change of force after the prestress of acrow steel prop has been applied.
2. After the mounting bracket is welded on the acrow steel props’ surface, push the strain gauge into the stable and free state without bending and torsion. The mounting frame and strain gauge should be kept parallel with the supporting axis. Attention should be paid to control the frequency of strain gauge properly when tightening the screw. The mounting position of the strain gauge should be selected as far as possible in a position suitable for protection.
