Tubular Scaffolding Inspection and Acceptance

Tubular scaffolding inspection and acceptance can be concluded as follows:  

 

#1 Inspection and acceptance of accessories

 

1. The new steel pipes shall be inspected in accordance with the following requirements

1) There should be a product quality certificate.

2) There should be a quality inspection report, steel pipe material inspection methods should comply with the relevant provisions of international standards.

3) Steel tube surface should be straight, smooth, there should be no cracks, knot, layering, dislocation, hard bending, burr, indentation, and deep cut.

4) The deviation of outer diameter, wall thickness and the end face of the steel pipe shall meet the requirements respectively.

5) The steel tubes shall be coated with anti-rust paint.

 

2. The used steel pipes shall be inspected in accordance with the following provisions

1) Surface corrosion depth shall comply with international regulations. Corrosion inspection should be conducted once a year. During the inspection, three steel tubes shall be extracted from the seriously corroded steel tubes, and transverse truncation sampling shall be conducted on the seriously corroded parts of each steel tube. When the corrosion depth exceeds the specified value, it shall not be used.

2) The bending deformation of the steel pipe shall comply with international regulations.

 

3. The scaffolding coupler shall meet the following requirements for acceptance

1) The scaffolding coupler shall have the production license, the test report of the legal testing unit and the product quality certificate. When the quality of the scaffolding coupler is suspected, it should be according to the national standard "steel tube scaffold coupler" the provisions of the sampling test.

2) New and used scaffolding coupler should be rustproof treatment.

3) The technical requirements of the scaffolding coupler shall comply with the relevant provisions of the national standard "tubular steel pipe scaffolding coupler".

4) When the scaffolding coupler enters the construction site, the product qualification certificate shall be checked, and the sample shall be retested. The technical performance shall comply with the provisions of the national standard "tubular steel pipe scaffolding coupler". Scaffolding coupler should be selected one by one before use, cracks, deformation, bolt sliding teeth are prohibited to use.

 

4. Inspection of the scaffolding plank shall comply with the following provisions:

1) The inspection of stamping steel scaffolding plank shall comply with the following provisions

A. A new scaffolding plank shall have a product quality certificate.

B. The dimensional deviation shall be in accordance with the national standards and shall not have cracks, open welding, and hard bending.

C. New and used scaffolding plank should be painted with anti-rust paint.

D. There should be anti-skid measures.

2) The inspection of wooden scaffolding plank and bamboo scaffolding plank shall comply with the following provisions:

A. The quality of wooden scaffolding plank shall comply with relevant regulations, and the allowable deviation of width and thickness shall comply with the national standard "code for acceptance of construction quality of wood structure engineering". Do not use twisted, split, or decayed scaffolding planks.

B. The material of bamboo basketry scaffolding planks, bamboo string piece scaffolding planks should accord with relevant regulations.

 

 

5. Cantilevered scaffolding shall comply with the relevant provisions of the code for acceptance of construction quality of steel structure engineering.

 

6. The inspection of adjustable bracing shall comply with the following requirements:

1) There should be a product quality certificate.

2) There should be a quality inspection report, adjustable support bearing capacity should meet the requirements.

3) The thickness of adjustable support strut shall be no less than 5mm and the deformation shall be no more than 1mm.

4) Crack support plate and nut are strictly prohibited.

 

 

#2 Scaffolding inspection and acceptance

 

1. Scaffolding and its foundation shall be inspected and accepted in the following stages:

1) After foundation completion and before the erection of scaffolding.

2) Before load is applied on the operating layer.

3) After each erection height of 6 ~ 8 m.

4) After reaching the design height.

5) In case of strong winds or heavy rain of level 6 or above, after thawing in frozen areas.

6) Stop using it for more than one month.

 

2. Scaffolding shall be inspected and accepted according to the following technical documents:

1) Special construction plan and change documents.

2) Quality checklist of components.

3) Technical disclosure document.

 

3. The following requirements shall be checked regularly in the use of scaffolds:

1) The setting and connection of the bar members, wall members, supports, door trusses, and other structures shall comply with relevant technical specifications and special construction program requirements.

2) The foundation shall be free from water, the foundation shall be free from looseness, and the pole shall be free from suspension.

3) Fastener bolts shall not be loosened.

4) For double row and full hall scaffolding with a height of more than 24m, the deviation of the vertical pole settlement and sag shall meet the requirements. For a full supporting frame with a height above 20m, the settlement of the pole and the deviation of the verticality shall meet the requirements.

5) Safety measures shall comply with relevant technical specifications.

6) There should be no overload.

 

4. Scaffolding erection technical requirements, allowable deviations and inspection methods shall be in accordance with the provisions.
