Part Four

 

#7 Cross Bridging and Horizontal Diagonal Brace

 

1) The number of Cross Bridging and straddle poles shall be determined according to the table below. The width of each pair of Cross Bridging should not be less than 4 spans, and should not be less than 6m, the inclination Angle between the Diagonal Brace and the ground should be between 45 to 60 degree.

2) The extension length of the Cross Bridging shall be lap joint or butt joint, the lap joint length shall not be less than 1m, and shall be fixed with not less than 2 rotating fasteners. The distance from the edge of the end coupler cover plate to the end of the rod shall not be less than 100mm.

3) The Cross Bridging shall be fixed on the extension end or vertical pole of the transverse horizontal bar intersecting with it with a rotating coupler. The distance from the centerline of the rotating coupler to the main node shall not be greater than 150mm.

4) Double row scaffolds with a height of 24m and above shall be provided with scissor supports continuously on the whole facade outside; The height is 24m below the single, double row of scaffolding, must be at both ends of the outside, corner and the interval between the elevation of no more than 15m, each set up a pair of scissors support, and should be set from the bottom to the top continuous.

5) Double row scaffold transverse diagonal brace shall be in the same joint, from the bottom to the top layer of a zigzag continuous arrangement, diagonal brace shall be fixed in accordance with the provisions of section 7.30-7.31

 

 

#8 Access Ramp

 

1)  The scaffold used for pedestrian pass and material transport passage whose height is not more than 6m, it is appropriate to use a zigzag ramp; If the height of the scaffold is greater than 6m, the zigzag ramp shall be used. A non-slip strip shall be arranged on the footboard of the pedestrian ramp and the material conveyance ramp every 250 mm ~300mm, and the thickness of the strip shall be 20 mm ~30mm.

2) The construction of the ramp shall comply with the following provisions: The ramp shall be attached to the external scaffold or the building setting; The width of the ramp shall not be less than 1.5m, and the slope shall not be greater than the 1:6. The width of the pedestrian ramp shall not be less than 1m and the slope shall not be greater than 1:3.

3) A platform shall be provided at the turning, the width of which shall not be less than the width of the ramp. Both sides of the ramp and the periphery of the platform shall be provided with balustrades and baseboards. The height of the railing shall be 1.2m and the height of the footplate shall not be less than 180mm.
